Peace Action Montgomery is a chapter of Peace Action, the nation’s largest peace organization, formed by the merger of SANE which was founded in 1957, and the Nuclear Freeze Campaign.
We do grassroots advocacy to reduce violence in our world whether it is international conflict and nuclear war to the militarization of our local community (e.g., police, high school students). We also advocate for shifting resources towards human needs and a sustainable climate.
