Both the State of Maryland and Montgomery County give grants to the Maryland Israel Development Center (MIDC) to broker partnerships with Israel’s military industrial complex which includes not only Israeli war profiteers but even the Israel military, itself.
These war contractors have revenues in the 100 millions or billions and don’t need Maryland tax dollars for an entity like the MIDC to underwrite their presence in the US. They, in fact, already have a built-in incentive to plant themselves in Maryland, so they can market their products to the US defense industry and those that finance it…the US government.
